Sneak Peek

Well, little miss C decided to work with us today and had her first photo shoot! As you can see, even I can figure out how to use flikr (see our badge to the right of our postings) and wanted to share three very cute (ok, Mommy thinks that they are cute!) photos. We've decided that Little Miss C must have my legs since she has such a hard time figuring out where to put them! She does have DH's big toe! Apparently when she is feeling shy, she pops that leg up over her face to send away the paparazzi! Hope you all enjoy these as much as we did!

Maternity Clothing

Ok. I have to ask. Have any of you ever heard this "Aw, you're in your Mommy clothes today" by a subordinate at work? Ok, maybe its just me, but just because I am carrying a child doesn't mean I am your Mommy and it certainly doesn't mean I no longer deserve the respect I have worked so hard for. For those not in the military, would you feel any differently if you were told this? I mean, come on! I have managed to avoid anyone touching me, for the most part, but I get scared when I wear maternity wear that I have some big sign on my belly that says "Go ahead, put your paws on me. Why no, I don't mind." If/When it does happen, I may have to call the ambulance to surgically remove whomever's hand touched me from their rear. Am I the only one who feels/felt this way?
In other news, we're still negotiating on the property we discussed. Will let you know how it all works out but we are keeping our fingers crossed!

29 Weeks and counting

Well, the good news is we have no issues with gestational diabetes. Bad news (very minor) is I am slightly anemic so I have to take some horrid iron pills. Not my favorites at all!

Still working on the bid for the property up north, might hear something early this week, we hope. If nothing else, we'll stop working on that property and wait until August to look again.

For all who are following, the two photos attached are my 29 week photos. Who would have thought that I would be so much bigger (trust me, I am!) in a week!

We tried for the 3d/4d ultrasound yesterday but little miss C decided to hide her face with both of her fists, little boxer style, and even threw up a foot for good measure. We're trying again next weekend. I know, its not necessary, but a sneak preview is kind of cool!

Possible bummer

Well, it turns out other people are asking about the same property we are. The builder already raised the price. We made a bid and are waiting to see, but we have decided that if we feel like these folks are trying to mess with us that we will say "see ya!" and go back up in August to look at houses.
Other than that, we are into the last tri-mester and my sleeping is shot. What's worse is that when I don't sleep, DH doesn't sleep (poor guy). I am going to try a couple of new things, so any suggestions, go ahead.
Little Miss C is kicking away. We took our gestational diabetes test today, are awaiting results. Not worrying though. Either way, she is still active as all get out and we're just excited about getting closer to meeting her!

Just had to make another post to include a couple of pix from our recent househunting trip. I am holding onto the property photos until we know whether we have it or not. These two are just fun ones!
