Another quick update

I know, I know. I should be trying to post more but I am spending my time in other pursuits like Miss C, DH, work, school, you know the drill.

DH is getting ready to go on a trip and Miss C is getting ready to start a new group day care so life is a little hectic. On the plus side, Miss C seems to really like the new place. We've been visiting, kind of like play dates, a couple of times over the past couple of weeks. This way she is used to the place before she starts. She seems to enjoy the classroom (lots of new stuff to investigate) and her classmates (again, lots of new stuff to investigate!). I am sure that come Monday, her first official day, she will do well.

Here's a recent shot from Mrs J's house. As you can see, Miss C is really working on walking. I am sure it will happen sooner rather than later based on these photos.

Hope ya'll are having as much fun as we are!

Good luck on Monday with the new daycare! I am sure you will all love it.

Thanks! It will suck that DH is gone but I am sure the Miss C and I will be fine. If nothing else, she will have plenty to talk about! I swear she really is trying to walk. We spent some time yesterday at a picnic and she held our hands and walked (frankenstein like) everywhere!

That's awesome that she'll do that (the walking while holding onto your hands). C-baby STILL gets mad if I try to hold her hand while she's walking. She's gonna have to get used to it if she ever wants to walk in public, though - I'm not going to risk letting her run out in the street!

I think Miss C does it so she can walk since she can't or won't do it alone, yet!

How's the new daycare going?

Going well (I will put more into the next entry) but she's already caught her first day care cold! Poor baby has a really runny nose. On the plus side, she never really lets these things get her down. She just tends to sleep a little more to get over them. I am amazed but not surprised by how well she is adapting.
