Video blog!

I haven't posted one of these in a while and with DH gone, I thought I would post one. Today I managed to have the camera at hand when Miss C showed me her most recent accomplishment, kneeling. She is also getting much better at going from her tummy to sitting down.

I have to wonder if Miss C is going to be pulling herself to a standing position or perhaps crawling in the near future. Anyone have any ideas?

C-baby started crawling forward and pulling up to a stand literally within about 24 hours of each other. I'm not sure if that's normal or not, she just seemed to figure them both out at the same time.

So exciting to see her growing so fast!

Amazing! I am sure you have been even busier ever since!
Miss C is trying her hardest to avoid being on her tummy right now. I put her there, she puts herself on her butt! She scooches around the house by putting one leg behind her, reaching out and scooching. She crawls backwards sometimes too (on her knees and all). I think she is just enthralled with this newest trick!

Oh yeah, she's SO close to crawling, I bet by the time I write this you'll have seen her do it already. In the video, she's doing what I call teleporting: you turn your back a second and she's 3 feet from where you left her, in exactly the same sitting position.

E-baby also crawled and stood close to the same time, although I think she pulled up to a stand before she crawled. Either way, I think once the kid decides there's a whole world out there she wants to get to, she'll find a way to get there.

She's so exhausted lately because she seems to spend every waking moment trying to crawl or just get around in her world. She is even more aware than before, something I didn't think was possible. She is still doing the backwards crawling but I am sure she will find "drive" soon enough. I told her provider not to hold back and if she does crawl there to just tell me so I know to expect it.
